Objectives

The InterEd project aims to integrate a pedagogical methodology for secondary education that utilizes interdisciplinary and phenomenon-based learning (PhenoBL). This approach enhances students’ deep understanding of topics and the development of horizontal skills, while providing teachers with ready-made teaching materials for interdisciplinary teaching in History, STEAM, Culture, and Economics courses.

Target group

Secondary school teachers in the fields of History, Languages, Culture, STEAM, and Economics, educational institutions, and students.

Project outcomes

Virtual Learning Lab

An interactive digital environment that trains secondary school teachers in the integration of values such as Sustainable Development, Democracy/Inclusion, and Well-being.

Interdisciplinary Pedagogical Units (IPUs)

Ready-made lesson plans based on real-world phenomena (e.g., climate change, EU, migration) that convert interdisciplinarity and PhenoBL into classroom practices.
