Title: CareUp: Career Advancement and Reskilling for formal and informal carers in the digital healthcare sector

CareUp focuses on increasing the adoption of new digital health tools and solutions by professionals and informal, untrained carers. Designs and tests strategies to improve integration, skills updating, adoption of new skills, as well as identifies and potentially addresses the challenges they face in accessing digital tools, solutions, and health platforms. The goal is to gain a comprehensive understanding of the complexity involved in this vital aspect of healthcare delivery, ultimately maximizing the impact of informal workers on service delivery.

Project  outcomes

  • Support for lifelong learning with the aim of strengthening adult skills and facilitating their adaptation to digital transformation.
  • Development of targeted skills upgrading and retraining actions for professionals and informal workers in the field of digital health, offering a focused training and mentoring program.
  • Explore and test innovative tools and solutions, as well as alternative learning environments.
  • Supporting the transition and adaptation of workers from declining to emerging sectors.
  • Strengthening cooperation between the public and private sectors.
  • Developing monitoring and evaluation tools and methods.
