The European CERV project FOSTER, in which IASIS NGO participates as a partner, aims to develop inclusive governance frameworks that enable citizens, civil society, and local authorities to jointly anticipate and respond to future environmental challenges.

Building on this objective, the project focuses on strengthening democratic participation by involving citizens directly in foresight and scenario-planning activities. It promotes collaboration between local communities and decision-makers to better understand and prepare for long-term transformations driven by climate change, digital innovation, and geopolitical shifts.

Through innovative tools and participatory methods, FOSTER seeks to integrate future-oriented thinking into local governance, fostering shared responsibility, social engagement, and more resilient and sustainable communities across Europe.
