The INTERHEALTH program is a Strategic Partnership in Vocational Education implemented in the context of Key Action 2, Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices of the Erasmus + Program, and for its implementation, organizations from Greece, France, Italy, Spain and Austria collaborated.
The objectives of the program were:
- Equip health professionals with the intercultural skills needed to provide health services tailored to their patients’ needs.
- Provide non-formal education methods that can be combined with formal education of health professionals.
- Promote the effective provision of health care to national minorities who either reside or pass through the countries participating in the program, taking into account the importance of different health and disease perspectives for an effective and cost-effective health system.
